An episode of anthology series "Sunday Mystery Hour", a summer replacement series. This episode was originally telecast 29 May 1960 on NBC. This copy contains only two of the 1960 commercials. This is a Christmas episode of "The Paul Winchell Show", a show popular with children in the early-to-mid 1950s. The episode is a bit dated...whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is a matter of opinion (I happen to like a bit of datedness). But it does contain the original commercials for Cheer and Camay! Thanks below for finding the date!

(DVD Quality) Original Air Date: March 4, 1963 (Season 3, Episode 23). Opie's had it with his history homework, and misinterprets Andy's empathy as an excuse to skip it and lead his friends in revolt against their teacher, "Old Lady" Crump. When Miss Crump holds Andy responsible, he must find a way to motivate Opie and his pals. TRIVIA: The character of Helen Crump was supposed to be a one-shot. That is why they gave the character an unpleasant sounding name. But the producers were so...

Set in Nevada in the 1860's, Bonanza chronicled the adventures of the Cartwright family who owned a large ranch called The Ponderosa. Ben Cartwright and his three sons, Adam, Hoss, and Joe fought for what was just and decent in a time where lawlessness was common. Another episode of the long-running United States television series "Your Hit Parade". This 1950's series featured singers performing covers of the hits of the week. Aired 31st December 1955. The series had excellent production values but some amazingly poor commercials. Regardless, this episode features the cast covering songs like "Autumn Leaves", "Love and Marriage" and "Moments to Remember".

An episode of the Australian pop music series. This episode is dedicated to hits of 1957-1958. I feel the song selection could have been better.... Performers include: Sylvia Raye, Ja-Ar, Billy Thorpe, The Flanagans, Lee Sanders, Jacki Weaver, and Warren Williams.  Note: Brian Henderson says the show started in 1957. Actually, it started 1958, but Bandstand was preceded by the series "Accent on Youth" (1958), which in turn was preceded by "TV Disc Jockey" (1957-1958).

An episode of the Australian pop music series. This episode has an odd and lighthearted "Mexican/Spanish" theme. Performers include: Anne and Jimmy Murphy, Sir John Rowles (as Ja-Ar), Robyn Alvarez (nice to see her back on the show), Don Lane, and Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass.  Note: Don Lane, an American, stayed in Australia and was a popular talk show host. Note: the broadcast date is sometimes given as 17 December 1966 but this is incorrect (that is the repeat broadcast...

An episode of the Australian pop music series.  Performers include: The Shadows (the main stars of this episode), Warren Williams, Laurel Lea, and Billy Thorpe.  Note: my source gives the broadcast date as 2 December 1967, but this appears to be incorrect. Can anyone determine the broadcast date? This episode is listed on IMDb though (as "The Shadows Special"), if anyone wants to add full credits to the page. (they could also please add soundtrack credits to the IMDb page for...

An episode of "To Tell the Truth", a popular US game show. "Will the real (person) please stand up?" I love Goodson-Todman's shows, they are fun and legitimate. This episode is complete with the original commercials for Geritol, Serutan, and Sominex.

An incomplete episode of the Australian pop music series. If you put this episode somewhere else, please note it is incomplete.  This episode was shot at Avalon Beach.  Performers include: Judy Stone, the De Kroo Brothers, Laurel Lea, Kevin Todd, and Col Joye. Additionally, "Hangin' Five" by the Delltones is heard.  Although originally shot on videotape, the surviving copy is a kinescope.

An unsold TV pilot from 1963 called "The Plot Thickens". Same concept as the early 1950s series "Crawford Mystery Theatre" (of which only a single kinescope survives...anyone able to upload it?). In this pilot, a panel is shown a short film about a crime, and then has to guess who the guilty person is. Features Groucho Marx as one of the panel members. Could someone please check that this is public domain?
